Srinivasa Ruttala has made a significant contribution in the manufacturing industry with over 20 years of experience in project management, process automation, and digital transformation. As a Certified Corporate Director from the Institute of Directors, India, Srinivasa is dedicated to providingstrategic oversight, enhancing risk management, and driving operational excellence for organizations and their stakeholders.

Currently, as a Manager at Dow Benelux B.V., Netherlands, Srinivasa is leading DOW’s first plant-scale live migration to ABB 800xA and IEC61850 protocols. Srinivasa has also developed a customized Safety ChatBot, worked on Smart Manufacturing pilot projects, and contributed to the global PA leads network. Additionally, Srinivasa mentors in S-88 standards.

In previous roles at Dow, Srinivasa managed emissions control and catalytic oxidation projects, led the first Flare Gas Recovery System unit on the ABB 800xA platform, and oversaw brownfield projects introducing new Polyol types. Srinivasa also implemented Dow’s first train-level ABB Batch Manager.

Before joining Dow, Srinivasa managed shift operations and energy auditing in the steel plant at Steel Authority of India Limited, focused on process design, scale-up, GMP compliance, and yield enhancement at Aurobindo Pharma Limited, designed effluent treatment plants and heat exchangers at EnerCon Solutions, and managed field and panel operations at Reliance Industries Limited.

Srinivasa is currently pursuing a Doctorate program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML), further enhancing expertise in cutting-edge technologies and their applications. Additionally, Srinivasa is undergoing a certification program in Certified Data and Analytics Innovation Officer (CDAIO), expanding knowledge in data and analytics innovation.
