Position: Reservoir Geologist, MOL

István Nagy-Korodi, Ph.D. is a Reservoir Geologist with MOL Hungary, Budapest. He previously worked as an Operations Geologist with MOL Norge, Oslo – in the Mandal High and Balder, Norwegian North Sea areas. He has more than 17 years’ experience in offshore and onshore O&G E&P (Baker Hughes, Weatherford and MOL Group). He enjoys using quantitative and qualitative techniques and data analytics to shed light on complex problems in oil and gas exploration and development, with special attention on petro-lithium and rare earth element related research. István has more than 6 years international experience in reservoir brines related lithium (and rare earth elements) exploration, tested and proven lithium (and green transition related element) anomaly finding track record.
