Fawaz AlSahan is Senior Engineering Consultant, IIoT Leader and Chairman of Instrumentation Standards Committee in Saudi Aramco. Fawaz is a voting member of ISO, UL, IOGP, NAMUR and SASO with more than 26 years of experience in the design, digitalization, technical support and projects. Fawaz is a certified Engineering Consultant (SCE) and a Certified Automation Professional and received more than nine excellence awards Among them are “The King Award for Inventors and Gifted” and “The international Society of Automation Excellence in Technical Innovation Award”. Fawaz has five granted patents, three of them are commercialized. Fawaz is the author and co-author of many technical papers and he teaches multiple technical courses on process instrumentation and automation.
